Came across this fantastic gay film called "Weekend" a few days ago. It's a lovely movie about Russell (Tom Cullen) met Glen (Chris New) over the weekend. In the film, Russell is such an adorable character that I am deeply falling in love with. Tom is a Welsh actor with some very distinctive handsome facial features. He currently appears on Downton Abbey, another British drama on ITV.
If you haven't seen Weekend, please go and get it, you won't be disappointed. It is not a gay movie, but a very moving love story between two persons with some unexpected consequences.
Didn't do a thing for me. Did not find either of leads the least bit attractive. They like to smoke dope and drink a lot -- both behaviors I find offensive. They hook up for a one night stand and cannot figure out why it doesn't end up with a fairy tale ending. Again, immorality personified,
ReplyDeleteI am sure MANY queer males can relate to it, hence, its popularity. But, give me "Modern Family" over this trash anytime. At least I will be laughing throughout.
